A one-night stop on our way back to Munich and home

We left Lagenfeld at 9:30am and drove to Tegensee arriving around mid-day. Our hotel Luitpold was right on the lake (well across a road) and at first glance we were not impressed. We could not check-in right away so dropped our bags and found a sea-side bar/restaurant for a light lunch. On the dot of 12:20pm I did online check-in for our SQ flights home and was able to snag 2 front row seats for both of us.

We checked in and spent the rest of the day dagging about. We planned to eat at our hotel's restaurant but it was no longer operating, in spite of still having menus in the lobby. We tried 2 other places but both were closed for private functions. We ended up in a so-so Italian joint and both had pasta with pfifferlinge (German for Chanterelles).
