Sunday July 12

We left tegernsee around 1pm and drove to Munich - staying overnight at the Hilton at the airport. By the time we finally dropped off our hire car (after not re-fuelling it due to missing the turn off to the service station) we checked into the Hilton around 3pm and found we had been upgraded to a junior suite.

Being very travel weary we had a drink at the outdoor pub at the airport then went to the Hilton club lounge for happy hour followed by dinner at the airport pub (as the menu at the Hilton's fine dining restaurant was totally uninspiring).

Monday July 13

Off home on the 12:30pm flight to SIN then SYD. Our 3 hour layover in SIN became 4 hours due a technical issue with the plane. We finally walked in the door at 9:30pm Tuesday.
